Cord3 Unity software and documentation resources are available to download from the Customer Portal. A customer account is required to access the Customer Portal.

A software distribution service called the Unity Update Server is installed for each deployment. This service is used to install and update software images, including DCS services and enforcement points, across the DCS cluster. DCS services and enforcement points are unique to your deployment, and are the key to protecting your data. Security labels are applied to each data object, ensuring that users only see the data for which they are authorized.

Enforcement points work at the data protocol level, integrating seamlessly with your existing applications with minimal changes to the user experience.

Chat rooms are created based on classification and releasability. In your chat client, you only see the chat rooms you are authorized to join.

SharePoint

SharePoint

You can log in to SharePoint and access your libraries normally. The unique characteristic is that you only see the files you are entitled to access. You must download a file to view it. Before uploading a file you want to share, add a security label to it to ensure that only authorized personnel can access the file.

Email

Email

Use your email client (for example, Outlook) normally. The only additional step is to add a security label before sending a new email. Policy checks are performed before the email is sent and the information in the email is encrypted for transit. When you receive an email, it appears decrypted in your inbox so you can open and read it as usual.
